Prabhu Deva asks Nayantara to bid Farewell movie career

Glamor face Nayantara has finally decided to settle down in life with her lover boy(??) Prabhu Deva and bid farewell to her movie career. Nayantara and Prabhu Deva will be getting married in July in Chennai after Prabhu gets formally divorced from his earlier wife Ramlath in June.

There has been not much news about her signing up other movies after being linked to Sri Rama Rajyam which landed her in controversy as HMK activists objected to her role as Sita.
Buzz is that Nayantara has revealed her reasons for not signing up any more projects as she quips, “Prabhu Deva has asked me not to do anymore movies post marriage and both of us feel that it would be the right decision as many of our close friends and family members share a similar opinion.” So after Sri Rama Rajyam the lady will be take the honors of becoming a housewife.

Director Ameer to Launch Prabhu’s Son

In the heir rising season in Kollywood there is going to be a new addition to the clan soon. Vikram, the son of the veteran actor Prabhu is gearing up to be launched in Kollywood by none other than Ameer.

Apparently Prabhu had asked Ameer to direct his son in a film and kick start his career in Kollywood. After all Ameer is the director who made Karthi a house hold name with a single film.

But Ameer did not agree to the request immediately. Instead he took Vikram along and made him stay for a day with him. During the stay Ameer watched the activities of the young Vikram, played tennis with him and then said yes to Prabhu.
Prabhu is all smiles on the developments. Vikram’s launch film will of course be produced by Sivaji Films and it is all likely to roll even before Ameer’s ‘Adhi Bhagavan’ is completed.

Ajith Billa-2 to Start in April, Completes the Shoot in 90 days Share

Here is the breaking news for Thala Ajith fans. News is at a buzz in Kollywood that Billa-2 was put on hold due to director Vishnuvardhan’s Telugu project but now it is clear that the film will move to sets as soon as Thala completes Mankatha.

Director Vishnuvardhan is all set to direct his favourite actor Ajith. The film will be a prequel as said earlier and the duo is going to kick the floors in early April 2011. Vishnuvardhan has completed the script of Billa-2 long back and is waiting for Ajith.
Vishnuvardhan known for his perfect timing in completing the films is going to complete Billa- 2 in 90 days. Anushka is in consideration opposite Ajith and many suggested her name to Director Vishnuvardhan. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, while Nirav Shah is incharge of cinematography.
The filmmakers are predicting for a release anytime between December 2011 and February 2012.

Dhanush Makes Clarifications on ‘Seedan’, Seedan Story, songs

With the posters of Dhanush continuously published on newspapers and many media channels, the actor comes down to makes some clarifications about the film. The actor says that he doesn’t play full-fledged lead role in this movie, but takes on with an extended cameo role.

The film, which is a remake of yesteryear Malayalam hit movie ‘Nandanam’ features newcomer Krishna and ‘Nadodigal’ fame Anuya performing lead characters while Suhasini Meera Krishnan, Vivek, Sheela, Ponvannan and Ilavarasu are playing crucial roles in this movie. The film revolves around an orphan girl a devotee of Lord Murugan, who works as a servant maid to a rich family. But the oppositions rise from the rich family as they don’t want to get his son married to a servant girl. A cook arrives into the family and works along with her, thereby helping her to join hands with her beauty and make the family members accept their marriage. Finally, it is revealed that the cook is none other than God Vishnu himself.

Shruthi Haasan, was recently disappointed with   ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’, that was expected to do better at the box office given the fact that it is a Walt Disney collaboration and she was opposite her close friend Siddharth in the role. She reportedly bagged another important offer and yet again it is from the Telugu film industry.

The director Puri Jagannath had called her up recently for a movie with Mahesh Babu.
Reportedly the film will possibly be a bi-lingual affair to be produced in Telugu as well as Hindi.

Soundarya Rajinikanth Quits Law Exam after Fans Trouble

Soundarya Rajnikanth, younger daughter of superstar Rajnikanth got married to Ashwin last September. Well, it seems even post marriage she has many admirers who refuse to give up still as she witnessed a terrifying rather embarrassing experience last Sunday when she had been to Puthur in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh to take her First year Law examinations commencing on January 30^th.

Soundarya is currently pursuing law from K.K.C College, Puthur in A.P. and had been to the premises of the Govt. College in Puthur on Jan 30 to attend her examinations. However she had to quit the exam hall without completing her exams properly due to the disturbances made by the candidates inside the exam hall as well as the crowd gathered outside!
We hear many of the candidates entered the hall by hook or by crook as her very presence made the examination an exciting experience.
After she managed to get in scrolling through a huge crowd outside the examination centre waiting in abated breath for a glimpse of the beauty the question papers were distributed, but sadly it could not get the usual attention it deserved this time thanks to Soundarya’s glamour quotient in the hall.
Soon, she requested the Principal to allot a different room for her as is the case with many VVIPS in India, but very rightly she was not allotted any despite her pleading.

Finally Soundarya left the room without completing her exams feeling a bit embarrassed surrounded by an a gush of attention.

Vetri Maaran to Decide from a Handful of Choices Jeeva, Karthi or Simbu

Actor Jeeva is currently awaiting his double role flick Singam Puli, while Karthi is fresh with the success of Siruthai and Silambarasan is looking forward to complete his Vaanam shoots after he resolves his ‘corny’ issue.

All three of them are the suitable choices available to director Vetri Maaran who is yet to take a final stand and decide from a handful of choices between Jeeva, Karthi or Silambarasan for his upcoming movie, a Cloud Nine Movies production. Pawan Kalyan Signed New Movie with Vishnuvardan Updates

Nanban Vijay Movie Cast , Shankar Nanban Movie Official Press Release Date

Putting all assumptions, premonitions and the ifs and buts over the Tamil remake of ’3 Idiots’ the producers of the film Gemini Film Circuit has released a statement confirming their mega venture is titled ‘Nanban’, it will be directed by Shankar and star Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth in Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi roles respectively.
The jumbo endeavor will have popular Tollywood heroine Ileana playing Kareena Kappor in Tamil. Other pivotal roles are played by Sathyaraj and Sathyan. Director SJ Suryah, Actress Anuya and Ajay Rathinam will make special appearances.

Sanjay Dutt Replacing Salman Khan as host on Dus Ka Dum

While rumours were doing the rounds in the industry about Sanjay Dutt replacing Salman Khan as host on Dus Ka Dum, we bring you the breaking news.
The channel concerned is considering Sanju for another game show now. This show will mark the actor’s debut in television.

The channel is working with Dutt on an entirely new idea for a game show. A source from the television industry says, “The show hosted by Dutt will not be a format one, which is normally the order of the day.
A brand new concept is being devised.”
